Precipitation during the countingsLocal birds and other specialities:
  • The best period of migration this morning (because of Meadow Pipits and Chaffinches) was between 07:30 - 09:30h. After that birdnumbers started to diminish.
  • Lots of Meadow-Pipits and Chaffinches today, but also the first Redwings and the first Yellowhammer this autumn. Other nice migrants where the Spotted Redshanks, again a Dunlin, 2 Common Terns, 4 Grey Wagtail and Hawfinch.
  • Local Birds: White Stork, Goshawk, Sparrowhaw, Kestrel, Peregrine, Kingfisher, several Curlews, Snipe and a late Willow Warbler.
