Local birds and other specialities:
-
The waterlevel of the river and the canal is still very low.
-
At the other side of the river, more than a thousand Greylag Geese were
present, with in between at least one Barnacle Goose and already 36 White-fronted
Geese. When in the Rammelwaard the Greylags suddenly flew away, also a
group of six White Storks started to fly and two Spoonbills followed the
large group of Geese.
