Note:
-
With wind between NE and E; birds fly often high and are invisible. Is
seems that with a total of 11 species and 76 birds there was hardly any
migration. Perhaps the birds flew to high this day. Through the binoculars
I found straight above me one group of 12 House Martins and 1 Swift. And
even now, just small spots in the air, invisible with the naked eye. How
much can't be seen??
Local birds and other specialities:
-
Kingfisher still present, Purple Heron, Wheatear, 10 Gadwalls.
-
A pair of Egyptian Geese showed up with one downy young, only a few days
old.
