Local birds and other specialities:
  • Local birds:juvenile Purple Heron, the first Goldcrest, 6 Gadwalls, Widgeon, Teal, Goshawk, crazy singing Tree Pipit.
  • With the NE-wind; large clouds of pollution pasted by. A common view when the wind is from this direction. Each cloud has a size of several square miles and I guess a hundred meters thick. You can see the se clouds best by turning your head 90o.
  • More planes than birds today. Counting migration can be nice, sometimes it's depressing......or is it just a lack of sleep?
