  • With more than 20oC, it was a warm morning with croaking Marsh Frogs (Rana ridibunda), chirping Great Green Bush-crickets (Tettigonia viridissima) and flying Green-veined Whites (Pieris napi).
Local birds and other specialities:
  • At the counting point, I found this bright coloured secondary of a Barn Owl.
  • Local birds: Barnacle Goose, 2 Purple Herons, Goshawk, Hobby, Buzzard, 2 Shovellers, singing Bluethroat, Kingfisher, 6 Snipes, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, etc.
