Note:
  • The weather turned from nice cloudless and sunny into cloudy and rain; (bad conditions for migration and my mood).
Local birds and other specialities:
  • The Kingfisher was still hanging around, 2 juvenile Marsh Harriers, 1 Goshawk, 1 Buzzard and 1 Hobby hunting, 3 Purple Herons came out of the swamp, a Spotted Crake and Water Rail both called. Lots of Chiffchaff's and Willow Warblers in the shrub.
