Local birds and other specialities:
-
Good migration of Redwings and Fieldfares
-
A nice juvenile male Peregrine flew low to WSW. The first one this year.
-
At least ten Water Pipits flew from their roost this morning.
-
A local Lesser Spotted Woodpecker was calling the whole marning. One time
he flew to a small group of trees and was calling while flying; like Black
Woodpeckers do.
Clear, sunny weather.
