Note:
-
The morning started dry but cold. The first hour, large groups of Lapwings
were flying to SW and WSW. But also Redwings were flying in large groups.
I counted 283 birds under which a group of 40 and a group of 180. Later,
when I was riding home through the rain, I saw a group of more then 300
Redwings flying to SW.
