Local birds and other specialities:
-
Nice weather and good migration. Redwing were sometimes flying extremely
high glittering against a blue sky.
-
A Mistle Trush started to sing for a short while.
-
A late Chiffchaff in the willows.
-
180 Greylag Geese on the fields nearby. Numbers are still growing every
day.
-
Kingfisher still present.
-
After the counting I saw even more Redwings migrating. Now they flew much
lower (so perhaps only better to see than earlier today).
