Note:
-
No sleeping Geese today. Almost all the ducks left this corner of the Wieden.
Reason: Hunters. Again this morning quit a lot of hunting in the area.
Oh yeah, they are allowed "only" to shoot Crows and Malards but they chase
away the rest also!
Local birds and other specialities:
-
An adult male Peregrine Falcon passed me close. I could very good see the
enormous claws. Seven White-fronted Geese who were just passing were frightened
and turned chaotic to the right.
