Note:
-
Very good migration this morning. To much to write it down so I used my
memo-recorder today. There was also a lot of hunting going on, it seemed
like war ! !
Because of the good migration, I stayed an other two and a half hour.
For the results of the late morningcountings today, click
here.
Local birds and other specialities:
-
A group of 16 Egyptian Geese, the Ruddy Shelduck and more than 120 Widgeons,
one Pintail and a couple of Shovelers were present.
In the decoy; Kingfisher, Goshawk, 3 Great Spotted - and 1 Lesser Spotted
Woodpecher.
For the first time since 1994 I saw a Magpie at the observationpoint
during the late morningcountings. The bird flew very high, to WSW and I
didn't see him going down; probably a migrant??
