The Ruddy Shelduck, Kingfischer and Goshawk, still present. Reed Warblers
and Willow Warblers seem to have left the swamp.

Yesterday, in my backgarden, I saw a Humming-bird Hawk (Macroglossum
stellatarum) (Kolibrievlinder in dutch). Two days earlier I found a
drowned Privet Hawk (Sphinx ligustri) catterpillar (Ligusterpijlstaart
in dutch) in the water butt and a couple of days before that I saw a Comma
(Polygonia c-album) (Gehakkelde Aurelia in dutch). All three butterfly
species are quit rare in this area.
