Local birds and other specialities:

This morning, a group of 24 Greylag Geese flew over to SW with one small
Goose in the formation. With the telescope we could see that this was a
Canada Goose which is called the Hutchin's Canada Goose. Only one hour
later, a group of 19 Greylag Geese and the Hutchin's Goose (probably the
same) came from SW and landed on the water of the "Kiersche Wijde" At the
observationpoint, I saw this species earlier; 20-aug-98 when a group of
five flew to SSE.

Other local species, Kingfisher, Purple Heron, Shoveler, Tufted Duck 6,
Ruddy Shelduck.
